Powering Purpose: ESG Youth Challenge
Empowering Young Nigerians for Ethical and Sustainable Leadership
At Ewelukwa Legal, we believe that shaping Nigeria’s future begins with investing in the mindset of its youth. The ESG Youth Challenge is our signature giving-back initiative—designed to ignite awareness, inspire leadership, and foster critical thinking around Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles.
This annual essay competition invites senior secondary, university, and vocational students across Nigeria to reflect on key ESG themes and propose thoughtful, actionable ideas that respond to real-world challenges.
Whether it is climate responsibility, ethical governance, or inclusive economic development, the essay challenge encourages young Nigerians to think deeply about the values that drive lasting progress—and their role in advancing them.
Why It Matters
By writing and reflecting on ESG issues, participants gain early exposure to frameworks that are shaping the future of business, governance, and innovation globally. This simple exercise becomes a powerful tool for leadership development.
